Motrex selects Telenor Connexion to its global in-car infotainment

Today, December 16, 2019, Motrex Co.Ltd, the Korean in-car infotainment manufacturer company, and global IoT provider Telenor Connexion signed an agreement to connect and commercialize Motrex connected car solutions and fleet management.

Motrex manufactures and develops a range of automotive solutions that provides in-car safety information, driving data and passenger entertainment. For example, its parking assistance solution, Around View Monitor, displays navigation, messages and phone reception on the windscreen glass on a display. Its entertainment solutions provide videos and music on-demand, among other services that are designed to enhance the in-car experience for both drivers and passengers.

Until now Motrex have been providing their products to car manufacturing companies without providing network connectivity. After getting requests from end-users to support network functions they decided to look for a reliable partner.

Using Telenor Connexion’s global managed connectivity Motrex will get access to more than 400 networks in 180 countries which will help create a seamless and safe experience for end-users. It will also create new business opportunities for Motrex, by enabling it to further expand its footprint into the global market as well as the B2C segment.
