Telenor IoT reorganizes the global sales organisation

Telenor IoT is announcing an organizational change to further strengthen the global sales organisation with Seth Ryding appointed as the new CSO Global Sales, Johan Larsson as the Head of Americas and Stephen Osborn as the Head of EMEA.

In March this year Telenor Group announced it is unifying its IoT offering across the Nordics and internationally under the sub brand Telenor IoT. At the same time Paulo Vergos was appointed as Head of the new Nordic Solution Office to lead the IoT sales resources within the Nordics.

As from today, a new global team is formed called CSO Global Sales and consisting of the regional teams in APAC, EMEA and Americas. Seth Ryding, who has been CSO APAC and acting CSO for EMEA & Americas since March this year, will take on the permanent responsibility for the new unit.

A new region will be established, named Americas, which will include North, Central and South America and will be led by Johan Larsson, previously Account Manager Americas.

As a consequence, the present region UK/US will be split, and UK will be merged into EMEA and led by Stephen Osborn, previously Head of UK/US.

The organizational changes are part of the newly established Telenor IoT operating model, with the aim to leverage on Telenor’s global competency with strong local presence in target markets, and to synchronize product development, accelerate the customer facing business and improve technical support and leverage the full scale of the group when stepping up IoT investments for 5G.
