Cavotec select Telenor Connexion to connect its systems for mooring and automated charging

Cavotec select Telenor Connexion to connect its most advanced systems MoorMaster automated vacuum mooring and APS automated charging, across the Nordics.

More than half of Cavotec’s most advanced systems, MoorMaster vacuum mooring and APS automated charging are located across the Nordics, often in remote locations. By using Telenor Connexion’s managed connectivity, Cavotec will be able to seamlessly access more than 500 networks in over 200 countries to help them harness data generated by every installed product. By connecting the products Cavotec will be able to provide even better performance, predictive maintenance as well as software updates over the air (OTA).

Cavotec’s automated vacuum mooring solution, MoorMaster, replaces mooring lines with automated vacuum pads that moor vessels in seconds at the touch of a button. While moored, the system measures all relevant variables from position to weather conditions and calculates the optimal response instantly. Data aggregated from almost 100 systems across the world will, thanks to connectivity, enable continuous proprietary control improvements through software updates.
