Telenor Connexion nominated for Swedish Telecom Award in the category Company of the Year
The Telecom Award is a prize awarded by the independent Swedish telecom newsletter, Telekomnyheterna. The aim is to highlight companies and individuals who have performed highly in the telecom sector during the year.
Telenor Connexion is nominated in the category, Company of the Year, with the motivation:
"Seven years after its launch, Telenor’s dedicated M2M company Connexion is a profitable international company and a driver of the development of the connected society."
"To be nominated as the Company of the Year in our home market, Sweden, is something we at Telenor Connexion are very proud and happy about. The key to success has been that we early on saw the potential of Internet of Things (IoT) and created an energetic company with skilled employees who are passionate about creating value for our customers. This has created growth and profitability", said Mats Lundquist, CEO at Telenor Connexion.
The winners will be announced at the Telecom Gala held in the Winter Garden at Grand Hotel in Stockholm,on February 11th, 2016.
